~The Deep Creek~
I know a place where summers are cool and autumn is very brief; winter sneaks in early and stays late. Living things in and around this creek are tough because they have to be, yet they know of nothing different as they spend their entire lives here.  Evergreen trees provide a protective canopy here where they break winds that gust at over 60 mph at times. Animals bed down and wait through the really frigid days. In this creek, water still flows underneath sheets of ice, which provides a comfort to the living things that remain there.
This arm wrap is a reminder of how we too must remain tough and weather many storms. Riding out challenging times makes us stronger and more able to tackle future obstacles that lie in our path.
