~The Rock Creek Bracelet~

Rock Creek is a place of discovery, beauty, ever-changing scenery, and water sounds to fill every lucky hiker's ears. But, to me, Rock Creek is more than just a meandering stream of water rushing to where it needs to flow.  It's one of the many places my dad shared with me for the first time growing up...a place of many memories hiking, fishing, laughing and learning together as a family. When I venture here with my own family, I feel closer to him. My first memory of this place consists of a lot of rain and being very wet, which most other adventures here also possess. This creek and trail hold a dear place in my heart with wonderful memories I like to be reminded of when I see this bracelet.
